The NSS Unit and faculty members of D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education visited Banas Dairy on 13/12/2019, the was to provide students an insight regarding internal working of Banas Dairy and opportunity to learn practically through interaction regarding the Milk collection, Transportation, Testing, Processing and manufacturing of other dairy products.Banas Dairy is the largest dairy of Asia. All of us have gathered on the main gate and then started the visit. Mr. Mayur Chaudhary, the guide of the dairy explained us the processes of making milk powder, ghee and butter. He also explained how the dairy stores 4,00,000 litres of milk each day and the process of pasteurization. He gave additional information about Tetra Pack milk which can be reserved for 6 months. After completing the dairy visit all the students and staff members along with principal, enjoyed the mouth watering food of Annapurna Canteen of Banas Dairy.
