The kite festival of Uttarayan (Makar Sankranti) is regarded as one of the biggest festivals celebrated in western part of India. D.D.Choksi College of Secondary Education arranged awareness campaign on 11th January 2019 initiated to rescue birds which are injured by strong special string which is made by applying glass powder on it (known as Manjha).
Veterinary doctor- Dr. Pratik Panchal of Palanpur explained in detail about first aid of injured birds and animals and action taken by them in veterinary relief camps. Programme concludes with votes of thanks by general secretary of D.D.Choksi College of Secondary Education.
